I've just found out how you're going to spend the next few hours. And that is with Twitter Earth - a mashup which grabs Twitter messages in real time from around the world and shows them on a Virtual Earth map.
Admittedly I haven't jumped on the Twitter train just yet, but it sure seems to be the application of the moment. What interests me here is that this is yet another interesting way of taking all the content everyone is creating and applying it in a different way. I reminds me a bit of I Feel Fine - a fun little way to see what people around the world are saying/thinking/doing at a given moment.
It also makes me wonder how long I'd have to watch before someone I know comes up.
