The folks over in Cannes report that we just won our first Lion of the week, a bronze in Direct.
Last year we did a little campaign for Ariss Brothers Propane, a gas station in Waterloo, the hometown of one of our creative directors, Kelly Zettel. Ariss Brothers Propane is owned by, understandably enough, the Ariss Brothers. Apparently they have a certain, shall we say, charm. So much so that we really couldn't think of anything else to do than put them front and center in the ads.
Congrats to Kelly and everyone who worked on the campaign.
UPDATE: if you're so inclined, you can see the whole campaign here on the Cannes site.
Excellent work!
"The Gas stinks.The Service don't"
I applaud the clever line of code, and the whole whiff of a lonely stretch of road that meanders through the countryside, when one is looking forward to hitting a human face beaming at himself and the beast...the smiles and the eagerness to service as reflected in the hands...my spontaneous reactions to the creative treatment!
n I wonder, do we need big brands to create simple yet impactful campaigns? -Jyo

I mean the kid is 25 with 2 superbowls now. I mean if he was to play for the lions would he be able to take them to a super bowl?
Now instead of using Roethlisberger what about Tom Brady? Could he take the lions to the super bowl?
